Registration

Registration for IRI'26 is open. Please visit https://cvent.me/mr5xKA to register.

IEEE IRI'26 will be held July 31 - August 2, 2026, at the University of Washington Bothell, Seattle, WA, USA.

IEEE IRI'26 accepts four different types of papers for registration purposes:

  • Full research and full application papers (including invited papers): 6 pages (extra charge for additional two pages at a cost of US $150 per page; no more than eight pages would be allowed)
  • Short papers: 4 pages (no additional page is allowed)
  • Poster papers: 2 pages (no additional page is allowed)
  • Workshop papers: 6 pages (no additional page is allowed)

It is important that at least one author per accepted paper registers at the Author Paper Registration rate on or before June 20, 2026, 11:59 PM (Pacific Time). Author registration includes submission within the specified page limits mentioned above (additional cost may apply for extra pages).

Reduced rates (for students and life members) are NOT available for publishing authors.

At least one author must register at a full Author Registration rate and attend the conference to present the paper. Papers whose authors fail to attend and present them will be immediately removed from further consideration for inclusion in the proceedings and any planned journal special issues.

Authors other than the one who registers the paper and non-author participants are welcome to participate in and register for the conference. For non-author conference registration, a lower registration fee is available for students or IEEE life members.

Conference Registration and Author Registration include access to the entire conference and conference social events. Additional Paper and Additional Page fees are publication-related add-on fees and do not constitute separate conference registrations.

For any registration question, please send an email to Dr. Zedong Peng (zedong.peng@umt.edu) and Dr. Yongjin Lu (ylu2@oakland.edu) and copy to Dr. Wei-Bang Chen (wchen@vsu.edu).

Accepted paper authors need to select registrant type as Author. In addition, Paper ID and Paper Title must be provided for each accepted paper.

The following deadlines are relevant to IRI'26 registration:

  • Author Registration End Date: June 20, 2026, 11:59 PM (Pacific Time);
  • Early Registration End Date: June 20, 2026, 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) (This is for Non-Author registrations ONLY);
